With over 25 years’ experience in the customer service industry, including hotel reservation and event management, Colby is excited for the opportunity to transfer her customer service experience to the real estate industry.

Colby shows her deep connection to community through local sport. The daughter of a local rugby league stalwart, she is an advocate for all local sporting codes as her daughter represents and participates as a coach for Lower Clarence District Netball Association.
Colby, her husband Stephen, and their daughter Ava enjoy an active lifestyle with all the region has to offer. Camping at any of the local world class beach and hinterland destinations are top of the list.

Kellie Hewitt
Senior Property Investment Manager

A country girl at heart, Kellie was born and raised in Gunnedah and has strong family connections to the area today.
Kellie and her husband Jim moved to the Clarence Valley in 2012 when Jim was transferred from WesTrac Tamworth to WesTrac Grafton. 2023 marks Jim’s 20-year anniversary with the company.
Starting a family and purchasing a property in Gulmarrad, Kellie, Jim and their two sons are now proud locals. Enjoying the picturesque lifestyle, Kellie and her family spend much of their spare time camping, fishing, and relaxing at their property with friends and family.
Launching her career in Real Estate in 2018, Kellie applied her extensive experience in administration and accounts to her new passion for Property Management. Joining the Raine & Horne – Maclean, Yamba, Iluka team in March 2021, Kellie quickly became an asset to the business, investors, and tenants alike.
Kellie prides herself on her excellent time management and communication skills to ensure all investors and tenants receive the best quality of customer service throughout every transaction. Kellie’s caring and understanding personality allows her to provide a professional yet personal approach to the management of investment properties.
Together with Property Investment Manager, Jenny Hannah, the duo has built strong relationships throughout the community, particularly with the trade industry. With a trusted creditor list at hand, Kellie and Jenny utilise their relationships to secure quick response times to maintenance requests and obtain the most competitive quotes, without compromising on service.

Travelling to Australia from the Philippines as a tourist at just 18 years of age, Jenny fell in love with the Clarence Valley instantly. Spending time in the area with friends and family, she become well acquainted with all that was on offer. After visiting the sites in Sydney and Cairns, it wasn’t long before Jenny realised that the real gem of Australia was back in the Clarence Valley and moved to the area in 2018.
Starting her career in Maclean at Mareeba Aged Care, Jenny achieved her certification and provided much needed care to many of the elderly people in the Community for over four years. Jenny’s happy, positive outlook and cheeky sense of humour saw her become a very valuable asset to the team at Mareeba, the residents, and their families.
Looking for a change, in 2022, Jenny joined her Partner and Director & Auctioneer of the business, Travis McConnell, at Raine & Horne – Maclean, Yamba, Iluka. Transferring her specialised skills in community and customer service, Jenny is now thriving in the Real Estate Industry.
As a Property Investment Manager, Jenny’s role is to assist Raine & Horne’s Investors with all their property needs. Dedicated to achieving optimal results for property owners, Jenny is committed to providing transparency, integrity, and professionalism throughout all aspects of the property management journey.
Jenny is also a trusted go-to for Tenants. Helping them find suitable properties that meet their needs, budget, and lifestyle, Jenny is always available to lend a sensitive ear and solve any matters that may arise.
Outside of work, you will find Jenny enjoying the great outdoors with gardening, fishing, surfing, and riding her motorbike the top of her list.
Ruth Guthrie
Property Investment Manager

Born in the English countryside Ruth arrived in Australia in 1992 after travelling the world and initiated her Real Estate career within a 2nd generation family real estate agency in the closeknit community of Berry on the South Coast of NSW.
Ruth and her family spent time living in Bali, Indonesia and for the last 10 years has lived within Byron Bay area working as a digital business manager and has created healthy lifestyle membership programs and was a recipe developer, cookbook and magazine editor within the Australian health and lifestyle industry. Ruth is proud to have raised 2 strong and independent daughters and a gorgeous grandson during this time. Ruth feels extremely privileged to join the team in her role as Receptionist and Senior Property Manager at Raine & Horne, Maclean, Yamba, Iluka and is excited to utilise her 20 years business management and relationship building experience and looks forward to contributing to the local community through care and respect for all.
Ruth is now excited to begin the next chapter of her life with her partner Tony, in Yamba where they both aspire to live with gratitude and awe for each day, enjoying the incredible lifestyle, beaches and pristine environment that the Northern Rivers offers.
